高齡福祉科技研究所將以人性為本、以科技為用、以高齡福祉為念,著重於發展高齡化人口所需良善環境與生活之支持科技,重點包括肢體與行動支援、智慧與友善空間、溝通與資訊互動、高齡暨代間創新、增能暨健康韌性等議題。

肢體與行動支援之科技發展

著重於研發高齡者之行動支持輔助科技,包括:

  1. 個體暫態性行動支持技術建置設計
  2. 行動輔助科技環境融合之應用設計

智慧與友善空間之科技發展

著重於研發高齡者之智慧住宅相關技術,包括:

  1. 友善環境設計與環境需求分析設計
  2. 智慧科技監控暨雲端與物聯網技術

溝通與資訊互動之科技發展

重點於發展高齡者之溝通資訊應用科技,包括:

  1. 高齡聽視覺等感官能力衍生之技術
  2. 資訊與人工智慧於高齡應用之設計

高齡暨代間創新之科技發展

重點於發展高齡者之溝通資訊應用科技,包括:

  1. 高齡暨代間互動之科技應用與設計

重點聚焦在高齡者健康機能促進與增能,包括:

  1. 高齡增能活動設計及健康機能評定

Development Direction and Focus (Featured Courses)

The Institute of Geriatric Welfare Technology and Science (IGWTS) will focus on the development of technology to support the environment and life of the aging population based on human nature, technology, and the welfare of the elderly. Key areas include mobility and physical support, smart and friendly spaces, communication and information interaction, elderly and intergenerational innovation, and empowerment and health resilience.

Technology Development for Mobility and Physical Support

Focus on developing assistive technologies for elderly mobility, including:

  1. Design and development of transient individual mobility support technologies.
  2. Application design for integrating mobility assistive technologies with the environment.

Technology Development for Smart and Friendly Spaces

Focus on developing smart home technologies for the elderly, including:

  1. Design of friendly environments and environmental needs analysis.
  2. Smart technology monitoring, cloud computing, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

Technology Development for Communication and Information Interaction

Focus on developing communication and information application technologies for the elderly, including:

  1. Technologies derived from sensory capabilities such as vision and hearing for the elderly.
  2. Design of information and artificial intelligence applications for elderly use.

Focus on developing communication and information application technologies for the elderly, including:
